Achievement-1: My Introduction Post (15-01-2026)

About my self
My name is Helen and I live in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. It's a pleasure to be here in this platform (Steemit). I hailed from Ini Local Government area of Akwa Ibom state.Tall and chocolate in complexion . I am a graduate of University of Uyo in Linguistics and Nigerian Languages.

Set of skills
I am an all-rounder. A certified and License Teacher. Apart from being a teacher I also aquire other skills such as making hair, sewing, bead making, pastries, farming.
I am self motivated, blending creativity with strategy ensuring the out come not only speaks to the heart but achieves it aim.

I tried a new skill....Bead making.
I first learnt this skill when I was in school during home economics practical , little did I know that I can do better in it.
After secondary school I had a friend who was into bead making this make my interest for it grow more cause seeing her with different types of beaded bags with different styles and colors moves me to learn more. This skill really helped financially me in my college days cause I do make and sells beaded hairbands, earrings and necklace. Today I making my desire beaded purses, bags, earrings etc. Though I am not perfect in it but.

Hobbies
I spent time most in learning and trying out new idea and things. Asides that I love watching movies, playing games and also spending time with families and friends.

Family
My family my safe place I refer to it as my home cause home is where the heart is and the heart is with family. I am raised in the family of six and happily married.

Education
I would say that I am so privileged to experience the four walls of education to some extent, starting from nursery & primary where I learned how to read and write to secondary school and then got admission in college of Education then still push ahead to study Linguistics in University of Uyo.

How I knew about Steemit
Having being friends with Idara-abasi for some time now she love talking about Steemit and this got my attention so I desire to know more about it. So having seen my interest on it she opt to help and that's how my journey with Steemit begins.

My type of contents
Has an all-rounder I don't specialized on a particular thing. So having me here will be fun.

Conclusion
Having being exposed to the do's and don't of Steemit. I Helen will abide to the rules and regulations.
