Achievement 1 Post: My Introduction To Steemit

Hi everyone, my name is Keisha a Muslim girl from Ghana who just found Steemit. As a newbie, everything be new to me for real but as all things, with time and getting familiar I'll be able to do right.

I'll begin my attempt at writing online, something I don't do much of unless it's chatting with friends. Even before I start my journey on steemit I already know my niche will be everything that is interesting I'll get into it. If it was 5 years ago I would have said like movies a lot, but being honest I don't remember the last time I watched T.V. I'm always on the phone instead and I like the African comedy skits online. I also like other culture comedy skits too but they have to be short enough and lively enough that the language is not a barrier to understand what was going on.

I respect diligence and professionalism but not perfection. I know we're not perfect but the person who makes an effort to be better is someone I admire and that's the kind of person I hope to be.

I feel like these values come naturally to me because of my upbringing. The diligence I inherited from my mother. I watched her getting out of bed to attend to her responsibilities every morning. She instilled in me a greater appreciation for labor than any textbook could have ever achieved. So now I maintain the same level of self discipline in my personal endeavors.

I try to exercise but indoors only because they one thing I don't like is too much sweat all over and people are watching. I never compromise on quality and when I choose to accomplish anything, I do so with great discipline.

The blogs I'll be posting will mainly center on life experience and what is learned from it to grow and be better. I'll be as consistent as my life will let me and show up as often as I can. It'll be a joy to make more friends because I know the friends I make here, a lot of them are foreigners and that can be the best kind of friend to learn more from. I'm here to have fun and meet new people too, thank you for reading my introduction.
