Achievement-1: My Introduction Post(22-01-2026)
Hello fellow steemit. I am glad that some of you are reading this my introduction post. This is my first post on steemit. My name is Ezeh John Chima.
I came from Enugu state, Nigeria, I school at Michael Okpara university of agriculture, Umudike. I studied a course which no one selected for me during my Jamb, computer science. The way things work, I have always been curious about it. That feeling when you click a button on your gadget and something happens? I have always wanted to know how this things happen. Computer science was a course which exposed me more on the technology industry.
School helped to shape how I think even though it have never been easy for me. School taught me how to be patient and keep trying my best even when that thing is not working. In coding everything will look correct in your eye, yet it won't work, anybody who is a programmer will understand what I am saying. Sometimes the problem will be a small thing like comma and boom everything starts to work.
They are other things I love doing which is not school. I love playing games so much. Playing game help me feel relaxed and forget some of my problems at that moment. Another thing I love doing is writing. Writing helps me to express my feelings. I do share my ideas through writing. Most of the time I write just to clear my head. Another thing I do whenever I am less busy is reading educational contents which helps to improve my knowledge. Knowledge is food to the brain.
The first time I heard about steemit was from my friend. The funny thing there, he is not on steemit. He just told me about it, even though he doesn't know much about steemit. So I decided to carry out some research by myself about steemit. I went online and searched about steemit, I watched some YouTube videos about it. It was through the articles and videos I watched online that taught me how to create my account.
I came to understand that steemit values your efforts and rewards you for it. Steemit brings out your voice out for people to listen through writing. Your quality of post matters alot in steemit, your originality is the number one thing which steemit looks at. This is a place where someone can grow and improve more in his/ her writing skills, provided the person remains real in everything.
Am not expecting instant success in steemit. I know real growth doesn't work that way. I have special goals for joining this platform. I believe I will become a better writer here. I will write off heart without using any Ai confidently. Steemit have given me that space to practice my writing skills and I will take it serious.
Another goal is to learn from others. There are so many smart and creative people here. People with life experience, technical skills, and powerful stories. I want to learn from their posts, their comments, even their mistakes. Learning from others saves time and opens your eyes.
I also hope to build real connections. Not just followers or upvotes, but people I can interact with, support, and grow with. Community matters to me. Even a short comment or kind feedback can go a long way.
As for what I plan to contribute, I want to share educational content, especially around computer science, technology, and learning. I also plan to write about personal growth, simple life lessons, and sometimes my own experiences. Nothing too complicated. Just honest thoughts, written in clear and simple words. If someone reads my post and learns something new or feels encouraged that’s enough for me.
I know Steemit has rules and standards, and I respect that. I’m ready to learn, improve, and take corrections when needed. Nobody starts perfect. We all grow step by step.
If you’ve read this far, thank you. Really. I appreciate your time and your welcome. I’m looking forward to this journey learning, writing, sharing, and growing along the way.
Once again, my name is Ezeh John Chima, and I’m happy to be here on Steemit. Let’s grow together.
