My name is @leorichies, and I’m from Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, currently based in Uyo. Life here is actually a blend of learning, personal growth, and everyday hustle. Like many young people, I’m constantly trying to build myself, improve daily, and create a better future. Joining Steemit feels like opening a new chapter, one where I can share my experiences, connect with others, and grow in a completely new space.

I am currently a medical student at the University of Uyo, and that journey on its own has shaped a big part of who I am today. Studying basic medicals requires discipline, consistency, and a strong mindset because it’s not always easy.

There are long hours of reading, moments of pressure, and times when you have to push beyond your limits. But despite all that, it’s a path I’m proud of because it is preparing me for something meaningful. Being in this field has also helped me develop patience, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of life and people.

Outside academics, I make sure to create time for the things I genuinely enjoy because balance is very important. I enjoy reading because it helps me learn new things, improve my thinking, and see different perspectives. Whether it’s educational material or something more relaxed, reading keeps my mind active.

Cooking is another thing I find both fun and relaxing. There’s a special feeling that comes with preparing a good meal and seeing the final result come together. It’s also a skill I’m constantly improving.

Football is a big part of my lifestyle. I enjoy both playing and watching it. It’s exciting, competitive, and a great way to unwind. Whether it’s a local match or a big game, I’m always interested.

These are the things that help me stay refreshed and keep me grounded outside the stress of school.

I joined Steemit because I wanted more than just scrolling through content, I wanted a platform where I can actually create, share, and express myself. I’ve always had an interest in sharing ideas and experiences, and Steemit provides the perfect environment for that. It’s not just about posting; it’s about connecting with people, learning from different perspectives, and growing together as a community.

Another thing that drew me here is the opportunity to be rewarded for creativity and consistency. It motivates me to take content creation more seriously and put in my best effort.

Going forward, I plan to be consistent and intentional with what I share here. My content will revolve around: My medical school journey, the challenges, lessons, and experiences. My daily lifestyle and personal growth. Things I’m learning academically and personally. Content around football, cooking, and real-life experiences.

My goal is to keep everything real, relatable, and valuable so that anyone reading can connect with it in one way or another.
