A warm greetings to all Steemians, it's Sunday afternoon and I just came home from church. I had created my Steemit account a few days ago but due to some events I couldn't get the time to make my first most which after studying the rules, should be an intro post to the Newcomers community.

But anyways, God has given me life and grace and I’m really happy and grateful to join this amazing community. I took a while to go through posts of creators here and I realize that this is a community that really supports creativity from creators and authors, it supports learning too since there's so many people to learn from as the share above their life.

It's a new opportunity for me. I do have a long term intention to be part of this community because I've seen people with years of experience on Steemit.

I'll share my life, my journeys, my habits and hopefully make new friends along the way. This looks like a family more than a social platform from my observation and so I'm happy to join the family.

A Little About Me

My name is Princess Dwamena but I'll go by the username @luvlanguage . That's also my user name on Reddit by the way. I’m 23 years old a March born. I’m proudly Ghanaian, born and raised in this beautiful country and I spotted some Ghanaians and Nigerians on Steemit but also more than pleased to connect with those outside Africa, it would be an absolute delight to have friends overseas online.

Ghana has culture, tradition and we Keep our creative heritage. I studied General Arts in Senior High School, and I think that's what helped me develop a deep love for self expression and communication. The reason I say this is because it wasn't my idea to study that course, my parents chose it for me but I'm thankful they did anyways.

However, at the moment, I’m learning beauty and make up artistry, no where near being called a professional but a bit good with it. The photos I've posted with makeup, I did the make up myself, well 20 percent of it myself the rest by an actual professional.

I’m getting more passionate about this field and hope to grow into a professional makeup artist someday but besides that I've worked in an office as a receptionist so I've gotten used to office wears.

My Work and My Goals

Right now, I’m focused on learning and practicing make up work, from everyday looks to special occasion styles. Like I said, I'm learning so don't ask me to do it for you, might end up doing it well or bad, it's a 50, 50 chance.

I personally believe beauty is an art, and I love helping people feel confident about their looks. In the future, I hope to start my own small beauty brand and share tutorials, tips and transformation stories online. Perhaps Steemit will be a place to share them when I become a pro at it.

My Hobbies and my Interests

It's very simple I'll give you the list, when I’m not doing makeup, I enjoy, listening to good music a lot, mostly Beyonce. On Tiktok checking out people's fashion ideas, my For you page is filled with them.

Love to also spend time with friends and family, watching Netflix, we have an entire series we have watched multiple times, Alice in the Borderland. Don't watch it if you don't like horror films. I pay attention to lessons about personal growth and entrepreneurship because I would want to be a great woman entrepreneur in the future.

I’m still new to the world of crypto but it was only recently I found out about Steemit in particular. Although not the first blockchain social platform I've been on so I understand a bit about how Steemit works.
