Achievement 1 Intro Post to Steemit
My name is Kwame Wilson and I just joined this platform not long ago, still trying to understand how things work on Steemit. I saw people posting many things and I felt like maybe I can also try and see what happens.
I have to say, some people know how to write well, I may not be that fluent with writing so I can't promise I'll do an excellent job in my first few posts but I'll learn to get better. And I'll confess, English writing was not my best subject but I was a little above average.
I tried searching for Steemit app, but what I got was Steemit mobile and I was a little confused as to whether it's the actual official app or not, since I read that we have to be careful where we put our Steemit keys. But anyone that reads, if you know you can tell me so I'll finally download it. They call it Steemit Mobile. Interestingly I did see the Bangla witness in Steemit so there's a chance that's the source. It'll be nice to have mobile app for a website like this, it already looks cool as a site.
When it comes to my lifestyle and hobbies, I can say I'm a very simple guy. If I was to decide a fashion sense, I would say I'm more into swag than class. I would rather pick the kicks over the Italian shoe. They say leaders are readers and readers are leaders so I try to read. Even if it's not books, I read news on Google and watch the news for information. Nowadays I don't watch much TV. It seems like everything I need is on the social platforms so I get the info from there.
When I am not reading my books, I like to watch football or Basketball ball. I am not that athletic but I like the sport. Sometimes I watch alone, sometimes with friends outside where there is small TV and loud noise.
I also like playing video games. Whether Xbox, PS or on computer. I'm not really a fan of phone games though, if it's a phone, it's straight to YouTube videos. The YouTube shorts, I can watch for hours.
But it's cool when I'm playing game or watching something with friends. I remember one evening the light went off just when the match was getting serious and everyone started shouting, some people even left angry. And we're in Ghana so guess what happens next when the lights go off, they start insulting the president because somehow we have been cultured to think that the sitting president is the one intentionally turning off light just for fun. It's ridiculously funny always.
That kind of thing happens a lot here so I am sure any president prepares for public insults before takinthe seat. Although that shouldn't be the case, I believe like free speech does not mean be disrespectful. You share your opinions in a humble way.
