ACHIVEMENT 1: my intro to Steemit blockchain

Hello Steemians, I am Paa Kwesi from Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana. I am happy to be here and officially become part of this great community. I created my account about two days ago but I'm finally and officially introducing myself.

If I was asked to talk about myself in one statement I would say that I love learning from people’s experiences so I believe Steemit is the perfect platform to share my own experiences and develop myself as a writer and a person.

• FAMILY BACKGROUND

I come from a disciplined and a humbled family. My dad is Mr. Kofi Mensah, a retired civil servant and my mom, Madam Adwoa Mensah is a business woman who has for most of her life been selling provisions. I have two siblings, and I am the first of the three children. I have to take up responsibility of the house and family, so it has really helped me in time of need. We normally have a family meeting and we also divide house chores among ourselves to keep the house tidy. We are also thought how to respect our elders and keep to the rules governing the house, respect for elders is as you may already know a deep rooted aspect of most Africn culture.

This may not be the blog to compare but I admire Nigerians for having even more show of respect but as a Ghanaian we're taught that very much. Especially if you go to church a lot. I have a loving family that has helped me get to where I am now.

• EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

I had my basic and secondary education all in Cape Coast. After completing my secondary school education, I became more interested in acquiring some skills and became an apprentice at an electrical shop for about two years.

Though I have not had a smooth education, I believe the little I have acquired in life has really been helpful. As I learn from my mistakes and some of my friends and those around me that are seriously working.

• HOBBIES

I love to play football, especially on weekends where we normally play at a park. Comedy movies, Nigerian local movies and Hollywood movies, and documentaries and nowadays podcasts, that mostly what I use my phone for if not text or calling.

I like to engage in an argument or have a chat about an idea, lifestyle and especially business.

• WHY I JOINED STEEMIT

I joined Steemit as a way to explore more of what the Internet can offer, share my experience and learn from people from all walks of life. I am particularly interested in stories, self improvement and lifestyle.

• WHO OR IN THIS CASE WHAT INTRODUCED ME TO STEEMIT

I was introduced to Steemit by Google, I will give credit to where it's due, I basically bumped into it and decided to test it as I've been trying out a lot of online platforms mostly things related to money and crypto.

• THE TYPE OF CONTENT I WILL BE CREATING

I will be writing about my lifestyle, personal experiences, my life lessons and I do see contests here so I'm looking forward to joining them.
