Achievement -1: My Introduction To Steemit

Hello everyone, I'm delighted to be here. My name is Ruth Charles and I'm from Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo-State, Nigeria. I grew up in Imo-State, started and also completed my nursing, basic and secondary education there, before moving to Enugu State for my higher education. I studied Education/Economics at the university of Nigeria, Nsukka and graduated with an outstanding result in 2023. After that, I didn't want to go back to my home town, so I to travel to porthercourt, River State Nigeria to sort for a better life. I currently live in porthercourt and can actually call here home, because it feels like one.

When I landed in porthercourt, life wasn't rosy . It was tough, at first I went to my aunt's house to stay for some times in order to figure out my next move, and to be honest, staying with a relative wasn't easy, but I had to persevere Good job wasn't coming on my way as I haven't gone for my nysc then, I trekked miles , went to different interviews but nothing much came out from them, so I had to settle for a receptionist work in restaurant, I enjoyed my stay there and really made some good friends. I worked for or few months and was able to save up a little, before I was finally able to go for my nysc in 2024.

When it comes to what I do as a hobby, I would say it's writing and teaching. Infact, when I was in my secondary school I always write short stories and my classmates then, usually enjoy my stories. I love teaching too, and that was one of the reasons I studied Education in school, and I am currently a teacher by profession. I love it when I dish out knowledge to my students, being able to answer their numerous questions and helping to improve their academic performance is quite heart fulfilling to me.

Just like the saying that says" if you're not informed, you're deformed " information is power . I remember scrolling through my phone and came across a post made by @megareigns about micro blogging, as he calls it, I had to give him a follow, just to navigate through his page, and he was preaching positivity about steemit, and the results and positive reviews I saw on his page was enough to convince me. And he guided me through.

As a teacher by profession, I will be sharing with you my classroom experiences, and will also share my personal daily activities with you all.

I'm aware that every platform, group or organization has rules and policies that guides them, and for steemit, I vouch to keep to those rules and regulations guiding it.
