Achievement #1: Introduction @quiteink

Hello everyone
I am a beginner here and want to try something new here.
my name is Rizka Ananda, and I just turned 23 this January 28th, 2026. Since I got my birthday in early year i decided to try something new just like when i try steemit. Thank for @nananrazila who already invited me and helped me to make this come true. oh yeah i am from Aceh, Indonesia, one of the tropical countries in Southeast Asia. I just finished my bachelor's degree last year and take English Education major for my bachelor's. That is why i want to try writing on Steemit with English, feel free to comment or give suggestions for my writing style.

I know this sounds cliché but I enjoy studying, i really enjoy my bachelor journey. I actively joined several volunteer organizations while I was still studying at my university. And to be spesific i am tutoring English in several volunteer activities that i have done. Here in Steemit, I want to share how was my journey and struggles when I was a student at my university. Well, I forgot to tell you my university name, we call it Islamic State University Sultanah Nahrasiyah Lhokseumawe. There is one thing I like about that name: "Sultanah Nahrasiyah" was one of the queens of Aceh back then. Aceh is one of the provinces in Indonesia, located on the northern tip of Sumatra Island.

I start my volunteer journey at Sukma Bangsa Junior High School, located in Lhokseumawe. Here I found a lot of smart and cheerful students. I started this activity in 2023 when i was in the fourth or fifth semester of my bachelor's degree and ended this activity in 2025. As a very beginner tutor, I felt anxious and was not confident at all, what if i make mistakes, what if my students yawn when I give them a material. But then my friend told me, "It's totally okay Rizka, don't push yourself too hard, just imagine that they are yourself, so it's gonna be like you teach yourself about English. Then i tried to believe what she said. finally i used to it now, so everytime i meet my Sukma Bangsa student i do not feel pressure anymore. And now, I am actively being an English tutor in offline and online courses.

In addition to my teaching activities, I also work as a lecturer’s assistant at a university. In this role, I handle various administrative tasks that support academic activities, such as preparing official letters, drafting MoUs, managing scholarship data, and assisting with other documentation required by lecturers. This experience has helped me develop strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work responsibly in an academic environment.

yeah thats all about me, well honesly i want to yap more than this, but I think it is enough for an introduction, so i will share my other journey in another section. Hope this post will motivate me to write more and learn more with Steemit, of course. Thank you very much, ciao!!!
