My first blog post

Hello and welcome on my blog!

On my introduction post you could already read a short summary about some of my passions and interest.

Right now while I’m writing this blog I am in Bosnia and Hercegovina. I moved here a while ago from the Netherlands. So I think I make a travel post of from it.

The journey to here went very smooth.
And the view from the plane over the Netherlands was absolutely awesome because the weather conditions gave perfect sight. I even flew over the city I was residing before. Very exciting to see it from above. I did never took a plane to Eastern Europe before.

In the photographs you can see some key features of which you can recognize the topography of the Netherlands if you look really good.

Right now I’m residing in the little town of Pale 16 km southeast from Sarajevo.
It is a quiet town located between mountains and forests. I’m not here just for vacation. I’m here to have a quiet affordable place where I can focus on my online projects. Otherwise could better have booked a place in Sarajevo itself. But the beauty and excitement of that place could also work against you if you need to work.

However I want to sees things out here as well and there isn’t unfortunately that much to see in and around Pale. Al through you see forest everywhere around the town these are not easily accessible. Bus services to Sarajevo are very limited. You have to book a bus ride in advance to be able to travel and the earliest bus available departs at 10:30 AM central European time from Pale and the last one departs at 22:30 PM from Sarajevo back to Pale.

But it’s perfect for projects where you do need to concentrate on.
However Pale does have a lot of places where you can drink a coffee or beer at a terrace. There’s some music too and in the evening after sunset the town comes to life with many locals wanting to go out and chill. It could be a nice place for a short stay for cyclist and road trippers wanting to Explore this country.

For regular everyday tourists I would recommend booking a place in Sarajevo itself.
I did explore Sarajevo itself too and it’s a awesome and stunning city to visit. I think this city does rival a city like Madrid for those interested in culture.
