Introducing Myself on Steemit - ACHIEVEMENT 1 Post

Hello to every steemian, that's what someone was calling the community people so I figured that's like a nickname for Steemit members. My name is Samuel Addo all the way from Ghana. I used to work at circle Accra but now managing my father's appliances shop.

Circle wasn't an easy place to be at all, if you've been there before, the noise of the trotros at the phone shop can make you question why you even got a certificate at the university to do this.

I'm 28 years old and trying to do business, selling to a bunch of people who negotiate you down until your head hurts. I don't even understand why some people want to bargain and start at a price that looks like they want you to laugh before they mention the real bargain price. But anyways that's life.

I'm trying to be a good business and sales person so I'm trying to get used to it but I still get weary of people that just come in to chit chat for hours and never buy even a simple screen protector.

I've also been a crypto enthusiast for some years now. It's risky to trade but you're happy when you win. It's not easy to make it in the crypto game but my new plan is to learn more around it which led me to blockchain platforms. I'm still testing a few and Steemit is one of them. I didn't even know social media was tired to it. And I'm wondering why YouTube and tiktok is not paying their creators with crypto, because that would make all countries eligible. It seems Steemit is like that.

The only thing I can say is I need to learn more about this platform and more about crypto. I think it has more value than scrolling endlessly on X or tiktok. If not for the entertainment accept, I think Steemit would have blow in already.

I’m a man of faith and I’ve had to become smart living in Accra, way too smart sometimes for my own good. It's easy for someone to cheat you in business over here. I know there's a lot to learn and with my experience searching through the Internet for different platforms, if there's a platform built on communities, that means there's a lot to learn from different niches and I see Steemit like that.
