More militants leave Quneitra to Syria's north as per evacuation deal

DAMASCUS, SYRIA (2:20 P.M.) - A convoy of six busses carrying jihadi militants and their families in Jabata al-Khashab town is set leave to Idlib province under a previous agreement with the Syrian government.

After concluding the deal, the Syrian Army shall take over the towns of Jabata, Ufaniyah and Taranjah; all located north of the government bastion of Al-Ba'ath city and south of the Druze town of Hadar.

Prior evacuation, the surrendered fighters – who belong an al-Qaeda-linked group – had handed over all their heavy and medium weapons as per the same deal.

Once finalized, jihadi fighters in the last insurgent-held towns of Bariqah and Beir Ajam will also be evacuated.
