I think it is the same reason that the government doesn't want us growing weed. If one controls the production of a thinf he has leverage over the people who use that thing.
Makes complete sense. That's how big corporations control the entire humanity. Ultimately, they produce everything people consume.
Truth.
That's what we would have them believe anyway.
