BREAKING: DOJ Prosecutors Start Asking FBI About Uranium One: Hillary Clinton now in the crosshairs?
Zero Hedge is reporting today that Department of Justice prosecutors have been given the green-light by Attorney General Sessions to begin questioning FBI agents about evidence regarding a (previously dormant) criminal investigation into the Uranium One deal. Mainstream media outlet, NBC, reported a similar story earlier today. At issue is the sale of a U.S. uranium mining facility which occurred in 2010, under the Obama Administration's purview. Uranium One, the name of a Canadian company with mines located in the U.S., was purchased by a Russian state-backed company called Rosatom. At the time of the sale Hillary Clinton was head of the U.S. State Department, one of the nine U.S. governmental agencies tasked with examining the (subsequently, approved) sale. Questions regarding potential improprieties surrounding the Uranium One sale have been posed as Uranium One’s chairman (using his own family foundation) made four separate donations, totaling $2.35 million, to the not-for-profit Clinton Foundation, a charity started by former U.S. President Bill Clinton and, then Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton. It should be noted that the Clinton's failed to disclose these donations to the public. The DOJ is reportedly seeking “any information or documents he has concerning alleged corruption or bribery involving transactions in the uranium market.” Corruption or bribery on the part of Rosatom, Tenex (a subsidiary of Rosatom), Uranium One and the Clinton Foundation are presumed to be at the forefront of the investigation.
