Conservative Brief: The epitome of fake news for conservatives

If you talk to anyone that sees themselves as staunchly conservative, we all know the type, someone that is annoyingly conservative and has to turn almost any conversation into a political one in some way, then I would guess that these people are very hesitant to admit that "fake news" even exists on the right. They would be terribly wrong about that though and if someone wants to talk about this being a "chicken and egg" sort of situation that is something that could be interesting but the fact of the matter is that the media for the most part, has long since been a political weapon or a method of changing and controlling the general population's point of view.

The problem with the "fake news" today is the fact that there almost doesn't seem to be any news that isn't fake news. It's just a question of whether or not the particular brand of "fake" happens to appeal to your already existing biases.

Other institutions don't really try to lie to you as much as others but when it comes to conservative brief they have a tendency to be intentionally misleading with headlines and pictures that come along with that headline, and this particular one that is circulating pretty heavily right now has already worked the job that it was intended to do on one my super-conservative friends, and I can only presume that it has done the job on other like him.

Check out that headline and the picture associated with it. I can only imagine the sheer joy that conservatives must have had when they stumbled upon this headline and the elation they felt when they found out that Nancy Pelosi is finally going to give up on politics.

That's awesome if you are conservative but there's just one issue. The article isn't referring to Pelosi but they do a damn good job of lying to you without actually saying the words.

The article itself, once you click on the link (don't, I'm not even going to provide it) tries to briefly lie to you at the start of it but then in the 3rd sentence spills the beans on what it is actually about. Pelosi isn't going anywhere, the person who actually is not seeking re-election is Frederica Wilson and if you don't even know who that is, you are likely in the majority. I believe she is the woman in the foreground in the link's picture, but I can't even be 100% sure about that.

Perhaps you can recall the congresswoman who wears absolutely ridiculous outfits to official business and looks like a child who was given free reign to dress however they want to and always chooses to dress like a cartoon character.

I don't know anything about this woman's policy choices and what not but I would imagine if you can dress like a loon and remain in office for 30 years, there must be a lot of people that are OK with someone who wears silly outfits. Hell, it could be the main reason why anyone even remembers who she is.

This isn't the point though. I have nothing against her and don't care to really look up what she has done. The point here is that Conservative Brief is attempting, and apparantly has succeeded in convincing a certain amount of the population that Pelosi is on the way out, which she should be, but isn't.

Even once the gullible people figure this out the article has managed another objective, which is to keep the fire of disdain towards Pelosi burning strong.

The rest of the article, which I only scanned since Conservative Brief is trash news (a step BELOW fake news), they spend a majority of the time praising conservatives especially Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Great! I guess.

The news is so terrible these days that I find it very easy to spot fake stuff because most of it is. All of what Conservative Brief releases is fake and I question whether or not it is actually written by a human. The headlines are very similar no matter what it is that they are talking about.

As far as the part of the headline that says "Trump broke her" is just hilarious icing on the trash news cake. Trump isn't even mentioned in the nearly 2000 word article.

If you aren't questioning or just downright ignoring everything the media throws your way, it is well past time for you to start. Unfortunately, there are no good guys and bad guys anymore.
