How much did the military spend yesterday? $2.8 billion

in #news6 years ago

(Note that September's total value of Defense contract awards was $128 billion, more than doubling August's $58 billion.)

To start off October military spending, the Army awarded its high contract for yesterday to Lockheed Martin for $631 million, with just one bid solicited. The work will involve foreign military sales to the Netherlands and Japan to procure a variety of Hellfire II missile variants.

International Auto Logistics won the next highest contract, worth $295 million to provide transportation of private vehicles belonging to military service members... your tax dollars at work.

Well, to be fair, this same thing was happening during the Obama administration.

Then we can do this for Obama and also for the Bush administration.
