A great article. Yes our media is very pro war, pro hate, pro fear and anti truth. A young friend of mine wanted to become a writer and jurno, he was told in his coarse "The truth is who ever pays you the most and can sell the most fear!" My friend left the next day!
Thanks for the comment @hmt. Your friend did the right thing. The good news is that your friend is now free to pursue a career as an independent journalist if they choose through platforms such as Steemit. It may not be a lucrative career in terms of money, but if they are passionate about reporting the truth, it can be very rewarding on a personal level.
