Selfie Expert Oppo F7 To Be Unveiled On March 26th In India
In India, Chinese brands are taking the selfie market very seriously & have recently been very frequent with the launches. Last month, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5 Pro with a 20MP selfie camera & this week, Vivo hinted to launch the Vivo V9 smartphone with a 24MP selfie camera on March 27th. Today, OPPO joined in & confirmed to launch its player, the F7 on March 26th in India. The OPPO F7 with the notch display & 25MP selfie camera will be unveiled just a day before the Vivo V7 comes with the 24MP selfie camera.
OPPO might also announce the young Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya as the new brand ambassador. The OPPO F7 will be the successor to last year’s OPPO F5 which had 20MP selfie camera which will be replaced with a 25MP sensor, there is no information about the rear camera yet.
Just like the new trending phones like the iPhone X & Vivo V9, the OPPO F7 will also come with a 19:9 display featuring iPhone X-like notch too. It will be coming with a metal unibody design with a 2.5D curved glass on front.
Well talking about the design, the volume rocker and power button are placed on the left and right edge respectively. Based on the leaks, the OPPO F7 will be featuring a 6.2-inch IPS Full HD+ (2246 x 1080) display. It also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, MicroUSB port (sadly no Type C), and a loudspeaker at the bottom. The fingerprint sennsor on this device is expected to be placed on the back side.
The only thing I don't understand is while the companies follow the new trend by adapting new designs, they don't do the obvious changes like how they didn't give Type C & kept the micro USB port. Hope the brands will listen to the customers & do the necessary upgrades the next time.
