Why I don't care that the price of steem plummeted today
The price is currently down almost 20%. So I did a little research (about a minute or so) and found this article https://steemit.com/steem-price/@hisnameisolllie/why-is-the-price-of-steem-falling .This article is from August LAST YEAR. These type of things fluctuate for a combination of reasons.
But I will keep posting because I like it here. I am not here for the money,. I am here for the community atmosphere. The trading of knowledge and ideas. So I am not going to panic. I will still be posting when the price is 10 cents.
Great post. I feel the same way. I don't get this with YouTube or Facebook. I have enjoyed Steem tremendously and if I make a lot of money with it great, if not, I am still working either way.
You're some of my favorite people on Steemit! You better keep posting! You both look like the type of people I'd want to sit on a front porch with and chat the day away. Love having you here!
That is the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. Brought tears to my eyes. Even though we don't fully understand the system yet we are having loads of fun. Thank you so much.

The price will go up again no doubt about it. Hopefully to surpass our last high.

All assets rise and fall in value. Personally I believe in Steem and I believe in the Steemit community. I expect values will rise overall, in the long run.

Right now the value of steem is totally psychological and based on the belief this social network will work and grow! All we can do as a community is to work together to grow this community in order for all of us to bear the fruits ^^

Posting, commenting and interacting is the real reward, the currency is a bonus and a bit of a game on the side for me. On top of this, when the price falls down, that's an opportunity to buy more steem and power up. The price will be back up at some point and then the monetary reward will be significant too for those who want it.
