The White House has announced on Monday that Russia's 60 diplomats have decided to expel the United States from closing a Russian consulate in Seattle expressing solidarity with Britain.

Among these Russian diplomats, 12 were staying in the United States to work in UN headquarters in New York. 60 Russian diplomats in the discussion have been given seven days to leave the United States.

Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the reaction of Britain and the United States is understood to involve 'a stronghold' of those two countries in the attack on the Russian spy.

In addition to the US and Britain, 20 European countries and Canada have also decided to expel Russian diplomats.
