Malaysia has expressed strong opposition

If any country has strongly opposed it against the Citizenship Amendment Act, it is Malaysia. Malaysia has also criticized India earlier on the issue of Article 370. Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad termed India's policy as anti-minority, after which the relationship between the two countries was also affected.
