Another American airplane accident ... smoke or evacuation on Delta Airlines
Soon after landing, the room is filled with smoke.
Passengers are fleeing to the runway from a Delta Airlines plane that made an emergency landing at Denver International Airport in Colorado. With 153 passengers on board and departing Detroit, the plane made an emergency landing at Denver Airport when it saw smoke coming from its rooms.
On a Delta Airlines flight departing from Detroit, the U.S., to Denver International Airport, passengers escaped because of smoke. Michael Thomas, a spokesman for Delta Air Lines, said, " When the plane landed at Denver Airport and there was smoke inside the cabin, passengers were able to escape through slides and an emergency exit of Oberwing. " However, no fire was observed. One passenger said, " Smoke came through the vents. " Another passenger said the room was full of smoke as the plane landed. " The oxygen masks never came down and people started to get excited, " she said, explaining, " The crew tried to stay calm but ended up asking passengers to evacuate. " Smoke began to flow through indoor vents while the plane was moving to the arrival gate after landing in Denver. Denver International Airport spokesman Emily Williams said, " Smoke was detected before the plane arrived at the gate. " Passengers were taken to the boarding dock by bus. Recently, there has been a series of airplane accidents in the U.S. On Thursday, a South West Airlines plane headed from Chicago to Newark, New Jersey, made an emergency landing in Cleveland, Ohio, in the middle of a window break. On April 17, a South West Airlines flight 1380 bound for Dallas, Texas, was hit by an engine explosion on a plane that killed one person.
