“If we are not serious about facts and what’s true and what’s not, if we can’t discriminate between serious arguments and propaganda, then we have problems,” he said during a press conference in Germany.

Doesn't it seem just so desperate?

Of course, it's just a projection for the mainstream media, and their role in manipulating the way people think.

These "fake news" websites that they are worried about (i.e. Infowars and Breitbart) at least never coordinated in a misinformation campaign that caused a war, as the mainstream outlets did leading up to Iraq.

Even if it were true that alternative outlets are manipulating people, longterm conclusion is people learn from it. They don't get led down an endless avalanche of thinking more and more absurd things. So there really is never a reason to want to censor somebody, you can just provide a better argument and over time that wins out.

But of course if you don't actually HAVE a better argument, you have to smear and accuse other people of exactly what you're guilty of.

Should fake journalism like Wikileaks be censored too Barack?

It's getting wild out there!!! Enjoy the show!

The more they censor them, the more reason to join Steemit lol.

Barack displays the symptoms of a pyschopathic liar. He believes what he says...no matter WHAT he says...at the time. If he says something else later totally contradictory...he believes that too.

Ya, I think you pretty much have to have that quality to get to the top in politics. If you stopped and felt uncomfortable lying you wouldn't be as effective.

Q: how do you tell if a politician is lying?
A: their lips are moving.
