Blaming the actions taken by this girl on her family's religion is just such a big generalization. I have met many muslim families here in Jordan who don't share this way of thinking and I am 100% sure you could find many girls scared of what their parents would say if they found out they are pregnant regardless of what religion does the family adhere to.
