Two early goals saw Uruguay finish top of group A as they inflicted Russia's first defeat of the World Cup in Samara, winning 3-0 to make it three victories from three and leave the hosts in second place.

10': Luis Suárez scores a goal.

23': Own Goal by Denis Cheryshev.

36': Second yellow card to Igor Smolnikov.

90': Edinson Cavani scores a goal.

Bullshit Time: 

This game is more like a friendly game because they don't know who will be the top team of Group B, and it is not so different between Portugal and Spain.

It is apparently Russia didn't care to win in this game. Russia let their several key players rest in the bench.

The result of this game somehow surprised me. I didn't think Uruguay would win like this easily. 

Man of the match: Luis Suárez again, 31 years old, 182cm, 86kg, has 2 goals in this World Cup, 25 goals 12 assists in La Liga, and 1 goal 3 assists in UEFA Champions League for Barcelona last season.

        thanks for all the updates. seriously what a game that was. it was simply sensational. uruguay played extremely well and totally routed russia with 3 goals to none.

          Uruguay go into the Round of 16 as Group A victors. Russia were emptied subsequent to surrendering that second objective and the match was for all intents and purposes settled when they went down to 10 men in the second half. Luis Suarez scored by and by while Edinson Cavani at long last got his name on the scorecard.
