What The Future Holds For Nigeria

It's 2019 and very soon we will be having national and state elections. The atmosphere is already buzzing with activity as political juggernauts and Padawans alike move strategically to secure better vantage points.

Will they work for the country? Seems unlikely. Too much greed and self-centred ambition is already on display. The incumbent party has not done a decent job but the opposition party looks bereft of ideas. Oh nigeria!

I can only hope that this year the youth will not allow themselves to be used as tools in this game of chess. We must learn from our neighbours and do better. Voting for the competent rather than allowing sentiment and personal gain dictate our choices.

We are not fools.

We were created to achieve great things. Not to be subjucated or reduced to hungry pawns.
