It was a slightly shorter quiz week than usual as I had a couple of nights away with my extended family. We still managed to answer 15 questions which were asked in a different format to last month. What did you think of the change? Keep with the storyline or return to direct questions?

A circle can be taken as 1 (wholeness, no corners)

When Justin Sun bought Steemit, lots of angry people got scared. One of their fears was that their beloved STEEM token would be replaced by TRON's TRX.
If TRON had converted all STEEM into TRX on that day, approximately how much would a user who had 10,000 STEEM (assuming no additional rewards or interest was earned) have today in USD?
Note: In case you use different conversion prices to me, please show your working.
According to historical market data from Trading View, TRX was trading at around $0.023–$0.025 USD & STEEM was trading at $0.20–$0.23 on February 14, 2020.
Given that the calculation should be,
If STEEM is $0.23:
10,000 STEEM × $0.23 = $2,300
At $2,300 total value:
$2,300 ÷ $0.023 = 100,000 TRX
TRX is now worth $0.2434
So, 100,000 TRX at a price of $0.2434 per token would be worth $24,340 today.
And I was so close, I misread the TRX price.

It's amazing to see the different trajectory for STEEM and TRX since TRON bought Steemit. I wonder what would have happened if the cartel hadn't had a tantrum. On the one hand, I think that ‘we’ would have achieved a lot more in terms of further development as a complete, unfragmented group (okay, there's no better way to put it: as a blogger blockchain with a unique selling point). Perhaps even with regard to the crypto price of our coin. BUT there would always have been someone who is jealous of one person and doesn't begrudge the other the butter on their bread. That always happens when money is involved. So sooner or later there would have been ‘war’ again. Only the fronts would have been different, as the big, big stake would have been divided differently.

I'm hoping that I can get one more set of changes in before the current proposal ends in a couple of weeks. Even if it's just a few bug fixes, I should try to get something done.
Then, I need to decide whether to put in for another term in office. There's still plenty to do but with the SBD price so low... and uncertainty as to what comes next with it, I'm feelings cautious about it. I'd have to ask for about 140 SBD per day, nearly 5 times the current proposal!
Decisions, decisions.
Putting the puzzles in a story line is much more creative.
But I prefer the direct questions. I can concentrate better on the individual question and don't have to keep going back into the story because I'm afraid of missing something. And then I was disappointed too often because other guessers solved the pre-requisite question before me, which made the next one easy. But I was still looking...
Speaking of guessing: a handful of quiz fans (including the quizmaster himself...) took part in our replacement event over the weekend. Word 08 is still available - first come, first served!
We accepted defeat long before Week 5 even started, so any nervousness is pretty much out the window 😆
I liked the storyline simply because it was new, but I prefer direct questions - they're much more convenient, no need to keep track of everything. Not that it matters, since most of the questions were posted while my teammates and I were asleep 😅🙁

I enjoyed the story - it allowed my imagination to run a bit wild with where to go next. Where would we have flown to from Boise Airport? Disneyland probably 😆
