take a look at my blog - you'll see three months ago I also posted an old beech photo! What is it about beeches that makes people want to carve their initials??
Nice old beech there and a perfect shot! I am not sure, perhaps it is easy to carve into a beech's bark. Cannot remember to have carved anything into trees really... I guess it hurt them:)
