I'm a father and struggling (money wise) musician and endeavour to make a living from my music to support my family, I've been writing songs for a while now and haven't had the best of luck regarding exposure and lucky breaks...but, after joining #Steemit and the #openmic contest 2 weeks ago, I refuse to give my music away for free any longer... The likes of YouTube, SoundCloud and Facebook have profited from independent musicians for far too long now...I'm extremely close to removing those accounts and concentrating all of my efforts on #steemit.

It may seem very ambitious but, I'm not interested in fame etc.
that's what I'm aiming for, a little house here in the Derbyshire countryside for me and my family to call our own.
