Steemit Open Mic Week 72 - Story Charlemagne - Time (Original)

Good morning steemit fam!

Here is a scattered idea of this song and the place it has in the tale.

A pivotal moment in the story when our main character (Story) is captured. Story has the ability to bend the will of his life as it unfolds. When he writes, the situation are pushed in the direction that he has professed through his writing. But if for some reason he writes something that cannot be achieved or he fails to do (physically) his body is trapped for a period of time.

Yes I know this sounds a bit out there but the rules set up by this tale dictate the life of my main character. And because of his abilities he is a target for those who want to capture and control it. That is where "Time" comes in. Never mind how he is captured or who commits to it (you will find out in the future), he is trapped in a box with no light and is tortured in an attempt to break his will. His only retreat is within his mind within a back and forth struggle of trying to remember his past and why he is a target.

I have an older recording of song with a lot of instruments that were just automated but I am currently working on a full band, progressive rock version which this acoustic performance is based off. Tis also why the breakdown on sorts sounds so barren by itself :(
