This is the week I have felt the biggest thrill when the winner was announced. Not only because she is my supertalented long time friend, and I am proud of all the kindness her beautiful soul spread around. It was also a new song after a while, that was a winning for me whichever outcome, a fledgeling of a song that learned to fly.

But I was not biased in the slightest, it made me cry and smile and stirred all those sweet conflicts of the soul when we long for freedom.
