Glad I am in the last phase; to me this has been a stage where I understood many things. The challenge post was more than helpful and simplified, and I promise that while Open TTD ends today for 26, I will connect to the server of our contest organisers @sergeyk and build something so that if eventually I become the manager of a company or a governor of a state in the future, I will know which area to build, demolish, erect some project. If there is something I learnt about OpenTTD, it is the ability to set up something on time, seeing that most towns, as the year passes, stop processing food, and if by that time you are not making use of their food processing plant after building a railroad, it eventually vanishes, or should I say, gets demolished by the town authority

Task 1

Starting population

After connecting to the server, I found a town with a population that meets the criteria of above 500; mine was actually over 800. The name of my town is Prafingley Market.

Just beside my city, in my headquarters labelled as Nsijoro HQ, marked this way, with a starting population of 818.

Task 2

Merely looking at my work, I was very satisfied by the way I built my first track, which is for water transportation. Obviously, a resident will not completely have everything, so they need to be provided for an eminent growth.

Water Company

I started by finding the closest water supply company around my city, and eventually I saw it in Runwood. So I built a railway station closer to it. It wasn't that close, so I went back to my town and built a station close to the water tank. From there I began building my railway. I was very cautious about my construction since I was aware that I would build another railway for the transportation of food.

Water Tank

I built my depot close to the water supply company. From there I bought a train precisely 2-8, which uses steam, then I bought additional tanks as an attachment.

I bought five tanks, then after buying, I set them in motion. The tracks are quite straight since I had to move water from the supply company to the town.

Truck with 5 water tanks

At first this train gave my town $12,000, but it decreases gradually.

I moved over to the erecting roads in my town; I made some construction based on my town space.

For the food train I did the same thing, but to be plain, I experienced some difficulty due to improper road construction; actually, I set my order for the train to make necessary transportation.

Task 3

If you deliver lots of products and water, does the town grow faster?

I would choose this option to answer since I had already completed most of my activities on this, highlighting the keyword 'population' in the context of this growth. I would say the town can actually grow in population, but the population will decrease at first but will eventually grow by a little percentage.

Task 4

Picture showing population growth

From the screenshot below, my population grew from above 800 to above 900; that's a massive increase, and if not that, it's decreased due to the fact that there was no regular distribution of water.

My account balance shows a massive increase, though I later used some to make another railway and build some roads.

This is all I have for now; I would love to learn more from @mohammadfaisal, @luxalok, and @joslud. Let's keep this company running.
