Salah satu mobil yang laris di dunia, termasuk Indonesia adalah Honda Civic Type R. Para pecinta kecepatan menyukai mobil ini berkat pengendaliannya, dan kini berkat mesin 2.0 turbo yang baru. Honda Prospect Motor menjual pesain VW Golf GTI tersebut senilai Rp 995 juta. Harga bekas civic ini lebih mahal karena jumlahnya yang sedikit (limited), kisaran harga bekasnya Rp 1 milyar±.
Mobil ini berasal dari pabrikan Jepang. Honda Civic Type R hadir sebagai mobil sedan mewah resmi dirilis pada bulan maret 2017 di ajang Geneva Motor Show 2017.
Type R dirancang dengan desain agresif. Ini terlihat dari desain grille depan, eksterior, dan Aero Kit yang bergaya racing. Lampu depan - belakang sampai lampu sen sudah full LED.
Honda Civic Type R mengusung mesin 2.000 cc 4 silinder VTEC Turbo berkode K20C1, dengan tenaga maksimum 310 PS dan torsi 400 Nm. Akselerasi 0-100 km/jam cukup 5,7 detik saja dan kecepatan maksimumnya ada di angka 272 km/jam.
