My hike went from Charlotte Pass to Main Range to Blue Lake, and back, following the Main Range Walking Track and Blue Lake Walk.

Blue Lake is the largest glacial lake in Australia. It remains frozen typically until December. The steep slopes surrounding Blue Lake are perfect for ice climbing (ice climbing in Australia? Really?)
The way back to Charlotte Pass. I never crossed path with anyone during the entire hike, I only saw a few climbers/hikers at the distance. The Main Range Walking Track is relatively popular in summer, not so much in winter or early spring.

But wait! There is more :-) The oversnow transport taking me back from Charlotte Pass to Perisher got stuck in the snow and we had to be towed to get unstuck. A day full of adventure!
So beautiful! Do you normally hike in the snow or usually more traditional hikes?
I hike very frequently, but most of the time is just dirt and rock. This was just my third time ever hitting the snow with snowshoes
