Chess Acrylic painting
Made this painting a little colourful but I like it, would be sharing my steps and process below.
Step1, Did a little sketch and minor blocking
Step2, gave some piece shadows and forms
Step3, started blocking in the bord and that's when I did this eye exercise I posted previously
Step4, blocked in yellow colour for the board, I was still experimenting here
Step5, worked on the background at this stage
Step6, added a little shades of blue to the foreground and
Step7 the painting was done at this stage felt like I could have done more but decided to leave it this way for now.
