Most people are not aware of my artistic abilities as I have not done many blogs showing my work.
As long as I can remember I always had an instrument in my hand scribbling, coloring, sketching, drawing, painting and creating something.
My first medium was Crayola crayons - actually it might have been baby food!
Mom and Dad told me the story of one occasion when I got in trouble for coloring on the wall next to my baby crib. When questioned they said I gave my best angelic look, apologized and said it would come off with Ajax!
By the time I was in high school, oil paints were my preferred medium. My art studio was setup in the basement where the heady smells of turpentine and paints were both inebriating and europhoric to me.
When I was fourteen, I created this ocean seascape from vacation memories stored in my mind. I enjoyed applying the paint to the homemade stretched canvasses that my father made and framed afterwards. Mom has most of my finished pieces displayed in her home
I hope you enjoyed my painting and learned a little bit about one of my favorite hobbies!
Thank you for taking time to stop by and visit my blog.
I truly appreciate everyone's continued support!
Stay safe & keep healthy, friends!
