SC-S30/W4| "Cardboard painting

This is me @isha-rehman.I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying good health I am very happy to participate in Steemit Challenge. This weeks theme Cardboard Painting inspire me to transform simple Waste material into a beautiful decorative artwork.

Art does not always require expensive supplies. Sometimes creativity begins with materials already available at home. Card board is one of the most useful recycl material because it is light weight easy to shaped and perfect for painting and crafting.

For this challenge I created a flower themed cardboard wall decoration using basic tool and acrylic painting technique. This project not only improved my Creativity but also show how recycling can become meaning ful art.

Materials Used

• Recycled cardboard sheet
• Scissor and cutter
• Pencil and marker
• Hot glue gun
• Acrylic paints
• Paint brushes
• Water container
• Cloth for cleaning brushes

Each material was easily available at home making this project Economical and beginner friendly.

Step by Step Making Procedure

Step 1 Selecting and Preparing Cardboard

First I collected un used cardboard from packaging box at home. I chose thick cardboard so the Structure would remain strong and durable.

After selecting the cardboard I cleaned the surface and removed uneven edges. Preparing the base properly is important because it help achieve neat cuting and smooth painting later.

This step also helps us understands how waste material can be reuse instead of being thrown away.

Step 2 Cutting the Required Pieces

Next I measured and cut the cardboard into different shapes and strip. Long strips were Prepared for the outer frame While smaller piece were kept side for decoratived element like leave.

While cutting I carefully follow straight line to maintains Symmetry and balance in the final design.

Step 3 Creating the Frame Structure

Using the card board strip I form square frame The strip were glued together using a hot glue gun to ensure Strong bondng.

This frame acts the foundation of the artwork. A strong base is esential because all decorative element will be attach to it later

Step 4 Designing Flower Stem

In this step I create curved stem shape using thin card board strip I gently bent the card board to gives a natural plant likes flows.

The curve line aded movement elegance to the design making the Artwork look more realistic Instead of flat

Step 5 Strengthening the Frame

To increase durability I added extra layer of cardboard around the frame edges . This rein forcement prevent bending and gives professional finishing apearance.

This step is very important for wall decoration craft because it increases longevity.

Step 6 Arranging the Stem Composition

I carefully arranged the stems inside the frame before gluing them permanently. This helped me check spacing and balance.

After finalizing the arangement I fix the stems using glue gun . Proper alignment ensure that the artwork looks visualy pleasing.

Step 7 Making 3D Cardboard Leaves

Small cardboard pieces were folded from the center to create leaf shape. Folding added depth and produce a beautiful 3D effect.

Instead of flat cutout these raised leave gave texture and artistic dimension to the design.

Step 8 Attaching Leaves to the Stems

The leaves were glued onto the stems one by one. I placed them in alternating directions to make the arrangement look natural similar to real plants.

This step required patience because spacing and angles greatly affect the final appearance.

Step 9 Painting Process

After assembling the entire structure I began painting.

• Leaves were paint brown to create earthy and natural look.
• The central leaves were painted red to acts as the focal point.
• The frame Was paint black giving contrast highlighting the design.

Acrylic paint were applied evenly using smooth brush strok . I allowed each layer to dry before applying another coat to achieve solid color coverage.

Painting transformed the simple cardboard into elegant decorative artwork.

Final Presentation

After the paint dried completely the artwork was ready. The combination of colors textures and recycled materials created a beautiful wall decoration piece.

The final result looks attractive modern and suitable for home decoration. It proves that creativity matters more than expensive materials.

Yes I am very satisfied with my final result The artwork turned out exactly I imagined. I learn new technique such as shaping cardboard creating 3D texture and balancing colors in composition.

This project also improve my patience and creativity skill.
