Our dear ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI brace wasn't enough in saving Bayern Munich in making a spluttering starts to this new Bundesliga season as this German reigning champions held a draw of 2-2 to Hertha Berlin last friday

Bayern was frustrated due to Hertha who finished 11th last season who took a shock lead in the first half after Lewandowski’s opener in which also Polish striker then saved a point with his second half penalty

You know, last season despite taking the lead, meaning winning the domestic double, the season was opened under pressure by Bayern after a 2-0 defeat to this Borussia Dortmund in the German Supercup two weeks earlier.

You know, sharp early look was on as Joshua Kimmich and Serge Gnabry which lead to being probed and prodded on the right wing because there were questions over the tactics of Kovac and also criticism was much on the policy of the club transfer which now unsettled Bayern in the building.

On the dot of 24minutes was when the duo finally broke Hertha as kimmich set up Gnabry to send a fizzing cross towards Lewandowski who moved home at full stretch from a close range. But with Bayern in a complete control Hertha actually struck twice in a quick succession to turn the game on its head.
So finally the equaliser arrived with a scoop of good fortune at 36minutes as a hopeful long range effort right from Dodi Lukebakio deflected off Vedad Ibisevic and wrongfooted Manuel Neuer
So after 3minutes Hertha now took the lead in curious fashion after the clashing heads of Marko Grujic with new Bayern singing Benjamin Pavard but while Pavard pulled up just holding his head, another player known as Grujic managed to chase down the loose ball and round Neuer before he himself collapsing to the turf but both players were back on there feet quickly so Grujic was now in the spotlight again when Robert Lewandowski was pulled down off the ball on the hour mark.
The penalty result which was given by Var was converted by the Polish striker just to bring Bayern back on level terms.

You know, finally Lewandowski, with Gnabry and Corentin Tolisso all just came close as Bayern pushed for the winner late on, but our dear Hertha held on to take a very well earned point from that opening game.
