New Ride for the Summer

They called this bike the "Widowmaker" when it was released by Suzuki in 1997- the TL1000s:

I was working at a bike shop in central California when these came in. Suzuki insisted that we put 27 miles on each and every one. We did just that through the canyons around Salinas.

I fell in love with these bikes. They were fast and handled amazingly, but you had to have a smooth grip on the controls. If you didn't, it would bite you.

Now, 20 years later I've found a perfect example.

Let's hope she doesn't bite...
