شعری از پروین اعتصامی
پروین اعتصامی از بزرگ‌ترین شاعران معاصر ایران است که می‌توان او را مشهورترین شاعر زن ایران دانست. او اشعار زیادی با مضامین اجتماعی، پندآموز، و اخلاقی نوشته است. بیشتر این اشعار در قالب قطعه و برخی نیز مثنوی و غزل است.
نام اصلی او رخشنده اعتصامی بود و در تبریز در سال 1285 به دنیا آمد و در سال 1320 بر اثر بیماری حصبه در سن 35 سالگی در تهران درگذشت.
ای خوش از تن کوچ کردن، خانه در جان داشتن،
روی مانند پَری از خَلق پنهان داشتن
همچو عیسی بی پر و بی بال بر گردون شدن،
همچو ابراهیم در آتش گلستان داشتن
کشتی صبر اندرین دریا درافکندن چو نوح،
دیده و دل فارغ از آشوب توفان داشتن
در هجوم تُرک‌تازان و کمان‌داران عشق،
سینه‌ای آماده بهر تیرباران داشتن
روشنی دادن دلِ تاریک را با نور علم،
در دل شب، پرتوِ خورشید رخشان داشتن
همچو پاکان، گنج در کُنجِ قناعت یافتن،
مورِ قانع بودن و مُلک سلیمان داشتن.
