When you're new here, there's really no point in cashing out small amounts of SBD (Steem Based Dollars) and converting them to USD. Probably far better to use the internal market, convert to Steem and then Power Up.

Slowly accruing Steem Power is your best bet here, in my opinion. USD can wait.
