My Nominations for the PHC Top 3 Monthly Contest - Board Games
This is my entry into this month’s PHC Top 3 contest.
This months topic is Board Games

| 1 |  | Hero Quest. This is basically a cutdown Dungeons & Dragons game but it is beautifully put together. Me and my brother had a lot of fun exploring dungeons and fighting monsters. Video underneath. |
| 2 |  | Atmosfear. What an awesome game this is. Ahead of its time. You needed a VHS player to assist with the instructions from a terrifying host. In the example below was the Gatekeeper version but they produced many different scenarios. It really could get very scary and tense. To add to that a time limit in the form of a count down and nerves were about to jangle! |
| 3 |  | Cluedo. A classic. Surely, every household in the UK and US has this game. Lots of hours of fun and frivolity. I have always found Miss Scarlet attractive. Is she The Matrix's, Lady in the Red Dress? |

Now this is a blast from the past. Dungeons and Dragons/Hero Quest was a firm favourite amongst a different social circle to the one I was in but I know it was vastly popular. The merchandise was inescapable!
I have to say though, Atmosfear escaped my memory as I was reliving my favourites. What an absolute belter! Play with the lights off, soil yourself whenever the man suddenly appeared on the screen... I couldn't get anyone to play with me as they were too soft haha! Think I only ever played 10 minutes of it which is a shame as it looked immense!
Cluedo, the ultimate "whodunnit" board game. I have to agree, Miss Scarlet was a minx... but you couldn't trust her... you couldn't trust ANYONE haha!

Great to see you join us again! Especially with such awesome choices. Atmosfear sounds super cool! I think I would like to try that now, though I don't think we have a VCR anymore, haha. Did they update it to a DVD version? ;)
