Three Days With Extremely Slow Internet Connection and Tried My Data Plan for the First Time

Our internet connection hasn't been functioning properly for the last three days. It started last Wednesday when there's an abrupt power interruption, and immediately restored it. It migh've been the reason why it's not functioning well.

We already called the customer service of Globe Telecoms, yet the job order given would be for Saturday so the connection won't be completely restored until tomorrow.

Tried out my data plan

I am subscribed to Sun Cellular Data Plan for 3 years. Nonetheless, it wasn't used since then. I am skeptical as I might overcharge on my bills, and pay higher than the usual. Besides, my data plan hasn't been working for years. I contacted Sun Cellular about it before to set it up. Though, they are unable to help. The same goes with the customer service I contacted before. Since I am paying a service that I'm not using, and the need to acquire an internet connection, I called Sun Cellular customer service, and so far, my concerns were addressed well. They have found out that there's discrepancy with regards to my account, and they modified something so I am able to connect with the data. However, things didn't turn out well initially.

As I was told to do I have to reboot my handset before I can use the service, which I did as directed. Despite following the instruction, it wasn't a success.

As seen here, I already exceeded the data limit that I'd initially set.

However, I wasn't connected to the internet yet.

Messenger should be connected since it takes a little amount of data, yet it's been at connecting status for minutes.

I was called back by the Sun Cellular customer service representative, and they had explained that it's trying to find a signal to finally connect the internet. At last, I was connected to the internet! But I have to watch over my data usage so I will not go above the amount of my monthly plan.
