Binignit - Philippines Dessert Soup !

in #philippines6 years ago

Its already Holy Week right now and its mostly a tradition for us to cook this kind of dessert when this special time comes.

In making this "Binignit" you will just need to boil some of sticky rice. You need to gently stir it so the underneath wont burn.

After it boils for a while, you will add "landang" to it ..it looks like a starch that is colored violet .. I really dont know where it came from we just bought it xD

After mixing it for a while, the mixture will now becomes color violet. Next is putting the sliced bananas, taro, and sweet potatos in it.

You need to add some coconut milk as well.

Just add sugar to taste ! Then after flavoring it with sugar ...here comes my favorite part, putting the so called "sago" well ..i dont know where it came from but it looks like some colorful orbs that are spongy to eat xD

When you already feel that its already cooked then its done ! I'm not the one who is cooking btw thats why :D
