I agree wholeheartedly with the reflective mindset that you have advocated here. I forget who it belongs to, but there is a quote about wasting our potential selves which I think illuminates how constant self doubt leads to empty ambitions, something to the effect of;
"...Hell is simply a place where you meet the person who you could have been."
"...Hell is simply a place where you meet the person who you could have been."
A simple line of around 10 words but that summarizes man's life, amazing!!
