RE: Post-Vacation Introspection and Stealing From Others
I try to find something (at least one something) I can take away from what I saw and use that to improve myself or my own life.
This is a great philosophy and practice. Still, comparing oneself against others is a dangerous thing to do. They are on a different path, no matter how similar and their decisions can inform yours but you definitely shouldn't feel jealous. Life can be a rollercoaster.
Quite right! It's a fine line between observation for the sake of observation or learning or self-improvement or some other entertainment purpose, and observation for comparison purposes. I don't think I'm jealous of anyone; I happen to mostly like what I have and who I am, and am going to HODL.
As you should!
