Around the world there are thousands of beliefs or traditions that speak about curses. Popular beliefs affirm that an object can be the conduit for evil to manifest. Although many people do not believe it, it exists, and is present in the lives of people.

The owners of these objects were skeptical at first, but, after having lived experiences that almost led to death, their testimonies are proof that it is possible. There are 10 cursed objects that had the power to change smiles in tears.

You may not believe in these legends, but the truth is that nobody wants to be in the same place as these 10 objects:

1- The Busby Stoop Chair
Thomas Busby was executed after he killed his father. It is believed that the chair that this man used inherited a curse. After his death all the people who sat in it had a tragic end. All had horrible and bloody deaths.

It is estimated that around 20 people died after sitting on it. Currently the chair is hanging high on the wall of a museum. The director of the museum gave strict orders to place it on high to prevent people from sitting in the chair.

2- The Diamond of Hope
This precious jewel has an approximate value of 200 million dollars. Its beauty is capable of captivating hundreds of people. But it is believed that being close to her has a price on life. All those who have guarded this gem have received many tortures. Decapitation, suicide, imprisonment, rape and jail are just some of the things that have had to live.

3- The Bassano vase
This vase is considered one of the most cursed objects in the whole earth. All the people who have owned it have died in less than a week. There were so many deaths that this vase charged that the Italian police buried him in a secret place so that he would not hurt anyone else.

4- The Painting of the Crying Child
In the 1950s a portrait of a child became very famous. But the mystery began when the houses where these paintings were found began to burn. The strange thing is not this, the mystery is accentuated when the firefighters removed from the houses completely burned the picture without a trace of any damage

5- The Woman of Lemb
This statue was discovered in 1878 by Lord Elphont. The woman called lemb is the goddess of bloody death. When Lord Elphont heard this, it seemed a ridiculous joke. But in a matter of two years he found that it was not a joke. All the members of his family died leaving him alone in the world.

6- James Dean's Porsche
James Dean loved his car so much he gave it a name. I call him the little bastard, but in spite of the great love he had for him, he took him to death. Then the shattered car fell on one leg to the mechanic trying to repair it.

It was then when they decided to sell it in parts. A doctor bought the engine of the car and died the day after starting to use it. While the chassis was transported in a truck the driver collided and died. Currently it is a mystery where these pieces are found.

7- The painting called "The Hands resist him"
This painting was painted in 1972, and it is believed that all those who owned it died. There is a firm belief that the characters in this painting leave him at night and commit atrocious crimes.

A couple placed it on auction on Ebay with the description that it was cursed and that was enough to start a battle to get it. The unfortunate thing about this is that the subject who won it died a week after having it in a strange way.

8- Annabelle
This doll served as inspiration for several Hollywood films. The story of this doll is one of the most terrifying in the modern history of the United States. The first owner of this doll found several messages written on a parchment near her and, that is not all, her partner alleges that she attacked him.

Steps, laughter and whispers with messages that were difficult to understand led the owner to get rid of it and then do an exorcism to the house. The paranormal researchers Warren claimed by then that the doll was possessed by an extremely powerful dark entity.

9- The Telephone Number +359 888 888 888
All the people who have owned this number have died. Since 2000, the people who owned it died tragically. Two of the owners were murdered in a bloody manner. One day after being assigned this number a 30-year-old man died of a clot in his brain.

The doctors claim that this problem came out of nowhere, something almost as if by magic. The telephone company does not currently have the number in operation and they do not have official statements as to why.

10- The Mirror of Myrtle
The fields of myrtle served as a place for oppression and slavery to reign. Here the slaves were subjected to multiple tortures and jobs in which many died. In addition to this, this site was built on top of an Indian cemetery which adds more mystery to the place.

The owners of the big house that stood in the middle of this field were killed in front of the mirror that was in the room. Popular belief holds that the souls in pain of those people were trapped in that mirror.

The later owners of said mirror claim to have seen how in the mirror the reflection of someone else arises. Several deaths have revolved around him and the worst of all is that they all end up dead in front of the mirror.

It is impossible to establish if they are simple coincidences or if they are truly cursed. But it is impossible to overlook all the strange events in which these objects are involved. Events that would make even the strongest doubt.
