Amateur Pics of the Day #49: ‘Sunset over Flagstaff’ by DJHeinrich

So living in Boulder you can’t see the real sunset. There’s a huge set of mountains in front of the city called the flatirons that block the entire view. So I decided to drive up the mountains to see the official sunset not blocked off. It has some amazing views.
I’ll try to put these in order so you can also watch the sun slowly set.



It’s exceptional in person. The photos look great but could never do it justice.

I have visited several times, but never at the sunset. It’s immaculate beauty never seems to amaze me.
