A lodge with a great wildlife view

Have I told ya'll that I love traveling? Well I do and road trips around my country Kenya are one of my favorite past times. Not to brag, but Kenya has a loooot of great places to visit from great beaches, to wild life drives, to semi desert drives, great restaurants to mention just a few.

These places are affordable to visit as a group or as an individual. I'm almost sure that one could visit these places all year round and not exhaust them. There's so many amazing places guys, so many!

So this last weekend we went to a place in Naivasha called Sopa Lodges. When we got there we were welcomed by get this....three majestic giraffes, not fake one's but real live friendly giraffes that are obviously used to human interaction and so are more curious than anxious or scared.

We also noticed a few wild bucks which were just as friendly as the giraffes. One actually looked me in the eye as if it was striking a pose.

The entrance to the reception was a smooth murram road that led to a cobalt walkway.

The rooms are on another level, huge spacious rooms with two or one king size beds all with a balcony to boot. And the greenery....oh! boy!

They even offer horse back riding services with an on site jockey to help guide those of us who aren't used to the horses. The horses are gorgeous, healthy and kept very clean.

The lounge area is huge with some old school sofas! I took a small break with my dawa(honey, ginger,lemon and hot water mixture) and took in the stunning views around me.
