Why I love Shooting Film on the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II

I love getting my film back from the lab. It's like a mini Christmas or birthday. I especially like getting my Kodak Portra 400 scans and prints back that I've shot on the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II. These were shot in a public park in Greensboro, NC, with my beautiful friend, Karson.

The amount of detail and color that can be extracted from these negatives is astounding to me. Yes, I've shot the Nikon D800, and D850, both megapixel powerhouses. I must say, the D850 probably comes the closest to consistently achieving a look similar to the Mamiya RZ67 Pro II. Love this camera! Love this film!
